WHAT ?
A one day Canadian Multi-Culture Music Audio CD sales event. Think of a fleamarket for indie music cds. Over 30 different music bands in one room. You can meet and greet many of your favorite artists, pick up autographs, take close-up photographs of the groups and you. Buy many different one-of-a-kind items like posters, t-shirts and of course CDs. This idea has been used in Nashville and branded with the name Fan Fare

WHY ?
In the past HMV would accept some indie music CDs. Now with the store¹s conversion to DVDs they are accepting very few indie music audio cds. Other than their own live gig, there is no one place to buy or sell indie music cds.
Why will this be a success?
1) Special issue of MusicTrain / LiveMusicGuide.Ca will be the program guide with 10,000 copies handed out on Yonge Street next to Sam The Record Man. In this guide a $5.00 CD coupon per cd for this event only.
2) Now Magazine is our newspaper sponsor.
3) Radio Station Sponsor.
4) Local Musical Instrument Store Promotion.
5) Web e-mail and web site promotion.
